The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
CONSIDER the bright morning hours, 1 And [by] the night when it covers with darkness, 2 your Lord has not forsaken you, nor is He displeased with you, 3 And indeed the Hereafter is better for you than the present (life of this world). 4 Your Lord will give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you orphaned and shelter you? 6 And He found thee wandering, so He guided thee, 7 And did He not find you in need and make you rich? 8 Therefore, as for the orphan, do not oppress (him). 9 Therefor the beggar drive not away, 10 And abundantly proclaim the favours of your Lord. 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa). Sent down in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
