The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
CONSIDER the bright morning hours, 1 And by the Night when it is still,- 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you nor does He dislike you! 3 The Last shall be better for you than the First. 4 And indeed, in time will thy Sustainer grant thee [what thy heart desires,] and thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you orphaned and shelter you? 6 And He found thee wandering, so He guided thee, 7 Did He not find you poor and enrich you? 8 Wherefore as to the orphan, be thou not unto him overbearing. 9 and do not chide the one who asks for help; 10 And as for the favor of your Lord, do announce (it). 11
