Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Did We not expand thy breast for thee 1 and lifted from thee the burden 2 Which had left you devoid of hope, 3 Have We not raised your remembrance? 4 Indeed, there is ease with hardship. 5 Verily, with the hardship, there is relief (i.e. there is one hardship with two reliefs, so one hardship cannot overcome two reliefs). 6 So when you have finished [your duties], then stand up [for worship]. 7 and to your Lord turn [all] your attention. 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
