Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Have We not opened forth for thee thy breast? 1 And We have taken off from thee thy burthen, 2 Which weighed down thy back. 3 and granted you an exalted reputation? 4 Indeed, hardship is followed by ease, 5 With difficulty is surely ease. 6 So when you have finished (from your occupation), then stand up for Allah's worship (i.e. stand up for prayer). 7 And make your Lord your exclusive object. 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
