Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

۞ Did We not widen your bosom? 1 and removed your burden 2 Which weighed down your back? 3 Did We not exalt thy fame? 4 So indeed with hardship is ease. 5 Verily, with the hardship, there is relief (i.e. there is one hardship with two reliefs, so one hardship cannot overcome two reliefs). 6 So when thou art empty, labour, 7 and be devoted to your Lord's service. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
