The Fig (Al-Teen)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Galaxies (Al-Burooj) before Quraish (Quraish)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By the Fig and the Olive, 1 And [by] Mount Sinai 2 And this Soil Secure, 3 We have indeed created man in the best shape. 4 Then do We abase him (to be) the lowest of the low,- 5 Except such as believe and do righteous deeds: For they shall have a reward unfailing. 6 What, then, [O man,] could henceforth cause thee to give the lie to this moral law? 7 Is not God the greatest of the judges? 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
