The Fig (Al-Teen)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Galaxies (Al-Burooj) before Quraish (Quraish)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the fig and the olive 1 And the Mount of Sinai, 2 and by this city (of Makkah), a haven of peace: 3 Verily, We created man of the best stature (mould), 4 Then We render him the lowest of the low. 5 except the believers who do good works, for theirs shall be an unfailing recompense. 6 So who henceforth will give the lie to thee about the judgment? 7 Is not God the most just of judges? 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
