Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Ya'. Sin. 1 By the Wise Qur'an, 2 Lo! thou art of those sent 3 On a Straight Way. 4 This is a revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful. 5 that thou mayest warn a people whose fathers were never warned, so they are heedless. 6 The word has been proved true against the greater part of them: they will not believe. 7 Surely We have placed chains on their necks, and these reach up to their chins, so they have their heads raised aloft. 8 and We have put before them a barrier and behind them a barrier; and We have covered them, so they do not see. 9 And it is the same for them, whether you warn them or do not warn them – they will not believe. 10 You can only warn him who listens to the warning and fears Ar-Rahman secretly. So give him good news of forgiveness and a generous reward. 11 Verily, We shall indeed bring the dead back to life; and We shall record whatever [deeds] they have sent ahead, and the traces [of good and evil] which they have left behind: for of all things do We take account in a record clear. 12
