Destiny (Al-Qadr)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

Indeed, We sent the Qur'an down during the Night of Decree. 1 Would that you knew what the Night of Destiny is! 2 The Night of Destiny is better than a thousand months: 3 in it the angels and the Spirit (Gabriel) descend by the permission of their Lord upon every command. 4 Peace! (All that night, there is Peace and Goodness from Allah to His believing slaves) until the appearance of dawn. 5

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
