Proof (Al-Bayyinah)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
The unbelievers among the People of the Book and the idolaters would never desist until the Clear Proof came to them. 1 A Messenger from Allah reciting Purified Pages 2 in which there are valuable Books. 3 Nor were the People of the Scripture divided until after the clear proof came unto them. 4 And withal, they were not enjoined aught but that they should worship God, sincere in their faith in Him alone, turning away from all that is false; and that they should be constant in prayer; and that they should spend in charity: for this is a moral law endowed with ever-true soundness and clarity. 5 The unbelievers of the People of the Book and the idolaters shall be in the Fire of Gehenna, therein dwelling forever; those are the worst of creatures. 6 Indeed, they who have believed and done righteous deeds - those are the best of creatures. 7 Their reward with their Lord is 'Adn (Eden) Paradise (Gardens of Eternity), underneath which rivers flow, they will abide therein forever, Allah Well-Pleased with them, and they with Him. That is for him who fears his Lord. 8
