Proof (Al-Bayyinah)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Those who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture and the polytheists were not to be parted [from misbelief] until there came to them clear evidence - 1 An Apostle from God, reading out hallowed pages 2 Containing firm decrees. 3 Nor did the People of the Book make schisms, until after there came to them Clear Evidence. 4 And they were commanded not but that they should worship Allah, keeping religion pure for him, as upright men, and that they should establish prayer and give the poor-rate, and that is the right religion. 5 Surely the unbelievers among the people of the Book and the idolaters, will abide in the fire of Hell. They are the worst of creatures. 6 But those that believe and work righteous deeds, they are the best of creatures. 7 Their recompense is with their Lord; Gardens of Eden, underneath which rivers flow, where they shall live for ever. Allah is wellpleased with them, and they are wellpleased with Him. That is for he who fears his Lord! 8
