The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its mighty shaking, 1 And Earth yieldeth up her burdens, 2 And man saith: What aileth her? 3 upon that day she shall tell her tidings 4 Because thy Lord will inspire her. 5 That day mankind will issue forth in scattered groups to be shown their deeds. 6 And whoso doeth good an atom's weight will see it then, 7 while whoever has done the smallest particle of evil will see it. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
