The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

When the earth is shaken by a terrible quake 1 when the earth shakes off her burdens, 2 when man asks, "What is happening to her?"; 3 On that Day it shall proclaim its news, 4 For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration. 5 On that Day mankind shall issue in scatterings to see their deeds. 6 And so, he who shall have done an atom's weight of good, shall behold it; 7 And he who has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
