The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken with her (violent) shaking, 1 and earth brings forth her burdens, 2 when man asks, "What is happening to her?"; 3 On that Day she will tell out the tidings thereof. 4 for your Lord will have revealed to it. 5 Upon that day men shall issue in scatterings to see their works, 6 whoever has done the smallest particle of good will see it; 7 And anyone who has done an atom's weight of evil, shall see it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
