The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
WHEN THE EARTH quakes with her [last] mighty quaking, 1 And the earth throws out its burdens. 2 And man says, "What is [wrong] with it?" - 3 on that Day will she recount all her tidings, 4 Because your Lord has commanded it. 5 That Day, the people will depart separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds. 6 Then whosoever hath worked good of an atom's weight shall behold it 7 And whosoever has done even an atom's weight of evil will behold that. 8
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
