The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

When the earth is shaken with its violent shaking, 1 and earth brings forth her burdens, 2 And man says, “What has happened to it?” 3 On that Day will she declare her tidings: 4 For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration. 5 On that Day people will come forward in separate groups to be shown their deeds: 6 And so, he who shall have done an atom's weight of good, shall behold it; 7 And whosoever has done even an atom's weight of evil will behold that. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
