Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 Then those striking sparks of fire, 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 and surely he loves riches with a passionate loving. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when that which is in the tombs is over-thrown, 9 and that which is in the breasts is brought out -- 10 Most surely their Lord that day shall be fully aware of them. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
