Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 And raiding at dawn 3 and leave behind a cloud of dust 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 VERILY, towards his Sustainer man is most ungrateful 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 Surely, on that Day, they will know that their Lord had full knowledge of them all. 11
