The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
I CALL TO witness the chargers, snorting, rushing to battle before the others, 1 sparks of fire striking, 2 And raiding at dawn 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 Then penetrate to the centre of the enemy army. 5 VERILY, towards his Sustainer man is most ungrateful 6 He himself knows this very well. 7 And indeed he is ardent for the love of good (wealth, becoming greedy). 8 ۞ Does he not know when the contents of the graves are laid bare 9 And all what lies in the breasts is opened – 10 indeed, on that Day their Lord will be aware of them! 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
