The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 then raid by the dawn, 3 and leave behind a cloud of dust 4 Then rush thereby upon an assembly: 5 Verily! Man (disbeliever) is ungrateful to his Lord; 6 And lo! he is a witness unto that; 7 And indeed he loves wealth to the extreme. 8 ۞ But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered 9 And that within the breasts is obtained, 10 Verily their Lord on that Day will be of them Aware. 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
