The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the racers, panting, 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 He himself knows this very well. 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
