The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 and produce sparks 2 by the dawnraiders, 3 and raising clouds of dust, 4 Cleaving, as one, the centre (of the foe), 5 The human being is certainly ungrateful to his Lord. 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 And the hearts' contents shall be brought into the open? 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
