The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

By the snorting chargers, 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 raising a trail of dust, 4 Then rush thereby upon an assembly: 5 Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 He certainly has a strong love for wealth and riches. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not that, when the contents of the graves are poured forth 9 and all that is [hidden] in men's hearts is bared 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
