The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the snorting chargers, 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 raising a trail of dust, 4 Then penetrate to the centre of the enemy army. 5 The human being is certainly ungrateful to his Lord. 6 and to this, behold, he [himself] bears witness indeed: 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 and that which is in the breasts is brought out -- 10 On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
