The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
The Calamity! 1 What is the Clatterer? 2 Would that you knew what the crash is! 3 A Day whereon mankind shall become as moths scattered, 4 and the mountains shall be like plucked wool-tufts. 5 Then, the one whose good deeds weigh heavy on the scales, 6 He shall live a pleasant life. 7 whereas he whose weight is light in the balance 8 He will have his home in Hawiyah (pit, i.e. Hell). 9 And what do you know what that is? 10 A Blazing Fire! 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
