Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Abundance diverts you, 1 Until you come to the graves. 2 No! You are going to know. 3 Nay! Nay! you shall soon know. 4 Nay, would that ye knew (now) with a sure knowledge! 5 For ye will behold hell-fire. 6 In the end you will indeed, most surely, behold it with the eye of certainty: 7 Then, on that day, you will surely be questioned regarding the favours. 8

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
