Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Rivalry in worldly increase distracteth you 1 till you reached the grave. 2 Nay, in time you will come to understand! 3 Again, no indeed; but soon you shall know. 4 Lo! would that ye knew now with the surety of knowledge! 5 you shall surely see Hell; 6 and you will see it with your own eyes. 7 Then, on that Day, you will be called to account for all the bounties you enjoyed. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
