Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

The mutual rivalry for piling up of worldly things diverts you, 1 until you go down to your graves. 2 Yes certainly, you will soon realise! 3 You shall cetainly know (about the consequences of your deeds). 4 And yet if you knew with positive knowledge 5 You will surely see the Hellfire. 6 Again, you shall surely see it with the eye of certainty 7 then you shall be questioned that day concerning true bliss. 8

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
