The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Woe to every backbiter, slanderer 1 Who amasses wealth and hordes it. 2 thinking that his property will make him live forever. 3 By no means! He will be sure to be thrown into That which Breaks to Pieces, 4 And what will explain to thee That which Breaks to Pieces? 5 It is the fire kindled by Allah, 6 Which leaps up over the hearts, 7 It will engulf them. 8 In outstretched columns. 9

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
