The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

Woe to every slanderer and backbiter. 1 Who amasseth wealth; and counteth it. 2 Does he think his wealth will abide for ever with him? 3 By no means! They will be thrown into hutamah. 4 How will you comprehend what Hutama is? 5 Fire of Allah, Kindled, 6 Which mounts directed at the hearts. 7 It shall be made into a vault over them, 8 In extended columns. 9

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
