The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

WOE TO EVERY slanderer, back-biter, 1 Who amasses wealth and considers it a provision (against mishap); 2 thinking that his wealth will make him live forever. 3 Nay, but [in the life to come such as] he shall indeed be abandoned to crushing torment! 4 What shall let you know what the Crusher is? 5 Fire of Allah, Kindled, 6 to penetrate into the hearts. 7 (And) vaults them over 8 in extended columns. 9

Almighty Allah's Truth.
