The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

Woe to every scorner and mocker 1 Who amasses wealth and hordes it. 2 He thinks that his wealth will immortalise him forever. 3 Never! He will certainly be thrown into the Crushing One. 4 Would that you knew what hutamah is! 5 It is the fire of Allah, [eternally] fueled, 6 roaring over the hearts 7 closed around them 8 in endless columns! 9

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
