The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Woe to every scorner and mocker 1 Who amasses wealth and hordes it. 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him last forever! 3 By no means! They will be thrown into hutamah. 4 And what could make thee conceive what that crushing torment will be? 5 A fire kindled by God, 6 Which mounts directed at the hearts. 7 Indeed, Hellfire will be closed down upon them 8 In extended columns. 9
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
