Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

Beholdest thou him who belieth the Requital? 1 It is he who turns away the orphan 2 And does not induce others to feed the needy. 3 So woe to those who pray 4 As are of their prayer careless. 5 Those who make a display (of their deeds). 6 And refuse Al-Ma'un (small kindnesses e.g. salt, sugar, water, etc.). 7
