Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Have you seen the one who denies the Recompense? 1 Then such is the (man) who repulses the orphan (with harshness), 2 And does not encourage the feeding of the poor. 3 Woe to those who pray, 4 But who are oblivious of their moral duties, 5 Those who make a display (of their deeds). 6 Who are uncharitable even over very small things. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
