Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

DESTROYED WILL BE the hands of Abu Lahab, and he himself will perish. 1 His wealth did not avail him, nor his acquisitions. 2 He will soon enter the flaming fire. 3 and his wife, the carrier of the firewood, 4 Around her neck will be a rope of palm fibre. 5

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
