People (Al-Naas)

6 verses, revealed in Mecca after Daybreak (Al-Falaq) before Absoluteness (Al-Ikhlaas)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of men, 1 “The King of all mankind.” 2 "The Ilah (God) of mankind, 3 from the mischief of the whispering, elusive prompter who returns again and again, 4 Who whispereth unto the breasts of mankind, 5 From among the jinns and men. 6

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
