O Children of Israel! Remember My favour wherewith I favoured you, and fulfil your (part of the) covenant, I shall fulfil My (part of the) covenant, and fear Me. 40 And believe in what I have sent down (this Quran), confirming that which is with you, [the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)], and be not the first to disbelieve therein, and buy not with My Verses [the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] a small price (i.e. getting a small gain by selling My Verses), and fear Me and Me Alone. (Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. I, Page 253). 41 And cover not Truth with falsehood, nor conceal the Truth when ye know (what it is). 42 And perform the prayer, and pay the alms, and bow with those that bow. 43 ۞ Will you bid others to piety, and forget yourselves while you recite the Book? Do you not understand? 44 And seek assistance through patience and prayer, and most surely it is a hard thing except for the humble ones, 45 Who are conscious that they have to meet their Lord, and to Him they have to return. 46
