God forgives not that aught should be with Him associated; less than that He forgives to whomsoever He will. Whoso associates with God anything, has gone astray into far error. 116 (The Pagans), leaving Him, call but upon female deities: They call but upon satan the persistent rebel! 117 Allah did curse him, but he said: "I will take of Thy servants a portion Marked off; 118 And mislead them and tempt them, and order them to slit the ears of animals; and order them to alter God's creation." He who holds Satan as friend in place of God will assuredly be damned to perdition. 119 The Satan maketh them promises and filleth them with vain desires. and Satan promiseth them not but delusion. 120 For such, their habitation will be hell, and they will find no refuge therefrom. 121 As for those who believe and do good works. We shall admit them to Gardens through which rivers flow; wherein they will abide forever. This is a promise from God; and whose word could be truer than God's? 122 It may not accord with your wishful thinking - nor with the wishful thinking of the followers of earlier revelation - [that] he who does evil shall be requited for it, and shall find none to protect him from God, and none to bring him succour, 123 And whoso doeth good works, whether of male or female, and he (or she) is a believer, such will enter paradise and they will not be wronged the dint in a date-stone. 124 And who can be better in religion than he who submitteth his countenance unto Allah, and is sincere, and followeth the faith of Ibrahim, the upright. And Allah took Ibrahim for a friend. 125 And whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth is Allah's; and Allah encompasses all things. 126
