The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful 1

All the praises and thanks be to Allah, the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 2 Most Gracious, Most Merciful; 3 Master of the Day of Judgment. 4 Thee alone do we worship; and unto Thee alone do we turn for aid. 5 Show us the straight path, 6 the path of those whom Thou hast blessed, not of those against whom Thou art wrathful, nor of those who are astray. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
