The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful 1

Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds; 2 The Beneficent, the Merciful. 3 Lord of the Day of Judgment! 4 Thee do we worship, and Thine aid we seek. 5 Guide us in the straight path, 6 The way of those whom You have favoured, who did not incur Your wrath, who are not astray. 7

God the Almighty always says the truth.
