We sent Noah to his people, and he said: "O people worship God; you have no other god but He; for I fear the retribution of the great Day may fall on you." 59 The great ones among his people replied: "Verily, we see that thou art obviously lost in error!" 60 He said, “O my people! There is no straying in me – I am in fact a Noble Messenger from the Lord Of The Creation.” 61 I bring to you the messages of my Lord, and give you sincere advice, for I know from God what you do not know. 62 "Do ye wonder that there hath come to you a message from your Lord, through a man of your own people, to warn you,- so that ye may fear Allah and haply receive His Mercy?" 63 (But) they belied him, so We saved him and those who were with him in the Ark, and We drowned those who belied Our verses. Surely, they were a blind nation. 64
