O believers, fight the unbelievers who are near to you; and let them find in you a harshness; and know that God is with the godfearing. 123 And whenever a chapter is sent down, some of them say, “Whose faith among you has this promoted?” So it has promoted the faith of the believers and they are rejoicing! 124 But those in whose hearts is a disease,- it will add doubt to their doubt, and they will die in a state of Unbelief. 125 Do they not see that they are tried every year once or twice but then they do not repent nor do they remember? 126 And whenever there comes down a Surah (chapter from the Quran), they look at one another (saying): "Does any one see you?" Then they turn away. Allah has turned their hearts (from the light) because they are a people that understand not. 127 Now hath come unto you a Messenger from amongst yourselves: it grieves him that ye should perish: ardently anxious is he over you: to the Believers is he most kind and merciful. 128 (Muhammad), if they turn away from you, say, "God is Sufficient (support) for me. There is no God but He. In Him do I trust and He is the Owner of the Great Throne." 129
