In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
AlifLaamMeem. 1 This is the Book (the Quran), whereof there is no doubt, a guidance to those who are Al-Muttaqun [the pious and righteous persons who fear Allah much (abstain from all kinds of sins and evil deeds which He has forbidden) and love Allah much (perform all kinds of good deeds which He has ordained)]. 2 Those who believe in the unseen and keep up prayer and spend out of what We have given them. 3 Who believe in what has been revealed to you and what was revealed to those before you, and are certain of the Hereafter. 4 These are guided by their Lord; these surely are the prosperous. 5 Those who disbelieve, whether you forewarn them or not, they will not believe. 6 Allah hath sealed their hearing and their hearts, and on their eyes there is a covering. Theirs will be an awful doom. 7
