Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have indeed set constellations in the heavens and have beautified them for the beholders, 16 and have protected them against every accursed satan 17 except for those who stealthily try to listen to the heavens, but who are chased away by a bright flame. 18 We have spread out the earth, and set upon it firm mountains and caused everything to grow in due proportion. 19 and provided thereon means of livelihood for you [O men] as well as for all [living beings] whose sustenance does not depend on you. 20 Naught is there, but its treasuries are with Us, and We send it not down but in a known measure. 21 And We send the winds fertilizing, then send down water from the cloud so We give it to you to drink of, nor is it you who store it up. 22 And indeed, it is We who give life and cause death, and We are the Inheritor. 23 And assuredly We know those of you who have gone before and those who will come hereafter. 24 It is your Lord who will gather them. He is all wise and all knowing. 25
