VERILY, those who are conscious of God [shall find themselves in the hereafter] amidst gardens and springs, 45 [Having been told], "Enter it in peace, safe [and secure]." 46 And We shall purge their breasts of all traces of rancour; and they shall be seated on couches facing one another as brothers. 47 There no sense of fatigue shall touch them, nor shall they (ever) be asked to leave. 48 ۞ (Muhammad), tell My servants that I am All-forgiving and All-merciful 49 And that it is My punishment which is the painful punishment. 50 Tell them of Abraham's guests. 51 When the angels came to him and said, “Peace"; he said, “We feel afraid of you.” 52 They said, 'Be not afraid; behold, we give thee good tidings of a cunning boy.' 53 He said: bear ye me glad tidings when old age hath touched me? of what then ye bear me glad tidings? 54 They said: "We give thee glad tidings in truth: be not then in despair!" 55 He said, 'And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, excepting those that are astray?' 56 And asked them: "What matter, O angels, brings you here?" 57 They said, "Indeed, we have been sent to a people of criminals, 58 excepting the household of Lot. We shall deliver all of them, 59 "Except his wife, who, We have ascertained, will be among those who will lag behind." 60
