So when the envoys came to the household of Lot, 61 he said, "You seem to be strangers". 62 They said, 'Nay, but we have brought thee that concerning which they were doubting. 63 “And we have brought to you a true command, and indeed we are truthful.” 64 Go, then, with thy household while it is yet night, with thyself following them in the rear; and let none of you look back, but proceed whither you are bidden." 65 And We revealed to him this decree, that the roots of these shall be cut off in the morning. 66 And the people of the city came rejoicing. (* To the house of Prophet Lut.) 67 rushed towards the house of Lot. Lot said to them, "These are my guests. Do not disgrace me. 68 “And fear Allah and do not disgrace me.” 69 They said: "Did we not forbid thee (to speak) for all and sundry?" 70 He said, “These women of our tribe are my daughters, if you have to.” 71 By your life! they were blindly wandering on in their intoxication. 72 At sunrise a dreadful Shout seized them. 73 We turned the town upside-down and showered on them lumps of baked clay. 74 There are great Signs in this for those endowed with intelligence. 75 And indeed, those cities are [situated] on an established road. 76 Indeed in this are signs for the believers. 77 AND THE DWELLERS of the wooded dales [of Madyan, too,] were inveterate evildoers, 78 We therefore took revenge from them; and indeed both these townships are situated on an open road. 79

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
