The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ The command of Allah is coming, so be not impatient for it. Exalted is He and high above what they associate with Him. 1 He sendeth down the angels with the Spirit of His command unto whom He will of His bondmen, (saying): Warn mankind that there is no Allah save Me, so keep your duty unto Me. 2 He created the heavens and the earth with reason. Too glorious and high is He for what they associate with Him. 3 He created man of a sperm-drop; and, behold, he is a manifest adversary. 4 He created cattle which provide you with clothes, food, and other benefits. 5 And wherein is beauty for you, when ye bring them home, and when ye take them out to pasture. 6 And they carry your heavy loads to lands that ye could not (otherwise) reach except with souls distressed: for your Lord is indeed Most Kind, Most Merciful, 7 (He has created for you) horses, mules, and donkeys, which you ride and as an adornment; and He creates what you do not know. 8 And upon Allah is the responsibility to explain the Straight Path (i.e. Islamic Monotheism for mankind i.e. to show them legal and illegal, good and evil things, etc. so, whosoever accepts the guidance, it will be for his own benefit and whosoever goes astray, it will be for his own destruction), but there are ways that turn aside (such as Paganism, Judaism, Christianity, etc.). And had He willed, He would have guided you all (mankind). 9
