Prostration

And as for those who emigrated for the Cause of Allah, after suffering oppression, We will certainly give them goodly residence in this world, but indeed the reward of the Hereafter will be greater, if they but knew! 41 those who remain steadfast and put their trust in their Lord. 42 And before thee also the messengers We sent were but men, to whom We granted inspiration: if ye realise this not, ask of those who possess the Message. 43 We had Sent them with miracles and Books; and We have sent to you this Reminder so that you may explain distinctly to men what was sent down to them: They may haply reflect. 44 Then, do those who have planned evil deeds feel secure that Allah will not cause the earth to swallow them or that the punishment will not come upon them from where they do not perceive? 45 Or, that He will not seize them in their going to and fro, and they will not be able to frustrate Him? 46 Or that He would not seize them gradually [in a state of dread]? But indeed, your Lord is Kind and Merciful. 47 Do they not see the shadows of all things God has created incline to the right and the left, bowing in obeisance to God? 48 All living creatures and all angels in the heavens and on the earth are in prostration before Allah; and never do they behave in arrogant defiance. 49 They (angels) have fear of their Lord above them and fulfill His commands. ۩ 50

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
