Do the disbelievers reckon that they can choose My bondmen as protecting friends beside Me? Lo! We have prepared hell as a welcome for the disbelievers. 102 (Muhammad), tell them, "Should I tell you who will face the greatest loss as a result of their deeds? 103 They are those whose efforts have been wasted in the life of the world while they thought they were doing good. 104 "They are those who deny the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of their Lord and the Meeting with Him (in the Hereafter). So their works are in vain, and on the Day of Resurrection, We shall not give them any weight. 105 That is their reward: hell, because they disbelieved, and made a jest of Our revelations and Our messengers. 106 But those who believe, and do deeds of righteousness -- the Gardens. of Paradise shall be their hospitality, 107 Where they will abide for ever, never wanting a change. 108 Proclaim, “If the sea became ink for the Words of my Lord, the sea would indeed be used up and the Words of my Lord would never – even if we bring another like it for help.” 109 Say: I am only a mortal like you. My Lord inspireth in me that your Allah is only One Allah. And whoever hopeth for the meeting with his Lord, let him do righteous work, and make none sharer of the worship due unto his Lord. 110
